Development/Executive Assistant
The Development/Executive Assistant assists the President in editing reports, grant requests, news releases, policy and research, event planning, travel arrangements, preparation of all documents, memos and correspondence for Board members and meetings. Also, responsible for scheduling appointments and managing and organizing President's office.

Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to work independently and carry through projects from beginning to end, ability to handle multiple assignments and work under pressure. Must have excellent editing and writing skills and be proficient in MS Office: word, access, excel and power point.

Minimum of 5-7 yrs experience. College degree or equivalent experience.
   

Training Manager
The Manager of Training is responsible for program development, design and execution of all aspects of WORC's entrepreneurial training. Also, responsible for the marketing, growth of the programs. Evaluates programs to ensure quality, comply with contract requirements, objectives and benchmarks. This role interfaces and collaborates with internal business units and builds collaborative relationship with outside organizations and businesses. The Manager of Training is a key member of the executive team and is responsible for collaborating to drive the strategy of the organization.

Bachelor's degree required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum five years experience implementing, marketing and managing entrepreneurial or related training programs. Prior experience operating a small business. Non profit experience a plus.

   

LOAN FUND MANAGER
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FUND

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Economic Opportunities Fund (EOF), a subsidiary of the Women's Opportunities Resource Center, is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), providing financial and technical assistance to micro-entrepreneurs and businesses in the Philadelphia area. EOF is looking for a professional dedicated and committed to meeting the needs of this underserved market. A background in small business or community development lending with understanding of consumer financing desired. Individual should have existing contacts with local financial, economic development and business assistance community. Management experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages the EOF Loan Program and staff/consultants: develops new business, analyzes, underwrites and recommends loan requests, processes disbursements, bills clients, posts payments, monitors clients progress, delinquency, and overall loan portfolio quality and performance; Responsible for collections and restructure of loans, periodic reporting on adherence to loan covenants, and cash management of loan funds, financial projections and assumptions; Recommends and develops new loan products.

Coordinates and conducts the EOF Advisory Council meetings, sets agenda, prepares reports, records minutes.

Assists reporting and grant compliance efforts as needed for funders, Advisory Council or Board of Directors.

Develops and implements EOF business plan/marketing plan and assists in fundraising/capitalization efforts.
