Building Blocks: Online Financial Education Program
Building blocks to Financial Success is an online financial management education program with lessons on savings and budgeting, debt and credit management, banking loan and grants, taxes, insurance and basic financial planning. It is cited as an approved curriculum in the American Express Financial Education Clearinghouse on the National Endowment for Financial Education website.
Easy to use
All you need is a computer and access to an Internet Service Provider. Once online you can sign up for the program and start to build your financial future. You can reach the program from a computer at your home, a public library, school, community action agency church or community technology center. In some situations, social service and economic development agencies are able to loan you a computer to allow you to meet training requirements for special grant and savings programs.
Counselor Support
Skilled trainers monitor your progress and offer feedback online about your course. They also can lead groups of people working at the same time at computer labs or adult education centers through the online lessons. A Bulletin Board and Chat Room are available to pass on tips and other communications.
Family Savings Account and Individual Development Account Programs
Building Blocks to Financial Success allows savers enrolled in Family Savings or Individual Development programs to complete their required financial management training in order to receive matching funds. More information about the Matched Savings program is available at www.worcfinancialed.com.

- $30 administration fee to WORC (Cash, check or money order. please specify DL prog. in the Memo section)
- Fill out the Course Registration form at: http://www.worcFinancialEd.com
- Enter "Kelly Herbert" as your Counselor
- Make sure you spell everything correctly, including your email address
- SAVE the application
- You will then receive a username and password via email with instructions on getting started
